Chase’s saline administration through IV has been discontinued and Tylenol is now being administered orally rather than through the IV. These are all positive signs of progress toward recovery.

The ENT team remains fully satisfied with the outcome of Friday’s sinus surgery. No further intervention needed on that front.

Ophthalmology is monitoring Chase’s eye closely. The morning exam continues to cause great discomfort for him. There is some concern that swelling may have increased slightly overnight, but the team has determined that no immediate imaging is required at this time.

We are currently awaiting the orthodontics team to come in and remove Chase’s braces — keeping all imaging options open as the team continues to monitor his recovery.
