Chase had a great afternoon. He got outside for a 30-minute walk and later took a few phone calls. Mom scored him a non-hospital smoothie; a much appreciated treat.
His spirit is the best we’ve seen in nearly a week. He’s seen so many ophthalmologists that he’s started stack ranking their exams. He won’t tell them where the sit, only that he’s got a ranking. Sometimes he even corrects steps that might get missed, or points out tools that would be forgotten. He’s quite the patient and I’m sure has a reputation…
